Tyler changed his major from finance to Film and Television and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from California State University Northridge. After college, Tyler spent some time at NBC and worked various sets ranging from commercials to features. In 2010, Tyler joined his father Ed at Matthews and the company has seen diverse growth thanks to an expanded commitment to grip, lighting, and camera support. Tyler brings his passion for filmmaking and family to work every day and is just as excited to see the new creators as much as he is to support the veterans of the industry.
